Teamwork is a great motivator. Employees doing things together will have a positive effect on everyone and make them feel motivated to do more. This also ties in with the previous point as teamwork also improves transparency and visibility.

Growing in their careers is something that every employee craves and showing them career growth should be on top of everyone’s list of things that improve motivation. The manager or the HR professional must sit with the employee and clearly show them how they can grow if they continue to put in excellent efforts.
